Modular Walls with concealed monitoring technique for added security
The protection of Art requires a highly sophisticated security technique that is not visible to visitors and which does not influence the aesthetic of Art or objects being displayed.
At the same time, the modular walls are required to be flexible for designing Temporary, Traveling, and or Art Exhibitions. MBA Design & Display products Corp. has developed a unique security technique that conceals the detection field inside the wall.

mila-wall® modular walls can be prepared for concealed object monitoring that can be connected to an alarm system. Electrodes are built into the wall in a defined area (as shown). This area creates an electrical detection field when connected to an alarm system of your choice. An electrical field will surround and protect the art or object hung on the wall module. Any change of the field by people or objects will change the electrical field which in turn releases an announcement. This announcement can be forwarded to a facility alarm system or it can release an optical or acoustical alarm directed at the protected object. The electrical field begins at approximately 39” (1000 mm) from the bottom of the wall module and ends at approximately 98” (2500 mm) from the bottom. This provides a detection field of approximately 60” (1500 mm) in height. The sensitivity in which an alarm is released can be adjusted to meet your requirements. The maximum detection distance begins approximately 15 ½” (400 mm) away from the wall module.
All wiring and cable requirements are managed inside the wall module. Wall modules are fabricated to include a pocket cutout that conceals the electrical electrical conduit within. Please note: The technical consultation and the construction of an appropriate alarm system will be done by partner companies.
