New interactive sound wall
mila-wall soundwall can now be constructed with integrated sensors to complement the invisible loudspeakers. These sensors react to movement or touch. Both sensors trigger a response from a mini computer, on which audio messages are stored as MP3 files on a compact flash card. The touch sensitive sensors can also be used for volume control.
Each wall module surface can contain up to 16 independently positioned sensors. The sensors are completely invisible. Sound can be played by simply touching the sensor fields. Interactive soundwall will attract more interest in your exhibit, by allowing your audience to hear as well as see the exhibition.

The mila-wall® modular building technique is simple, fast and creative. Using MBA ready-made wall modules, structures without visible hardware can be developed quickly. Ideal for changing exhibitions in museums and galleries.
Our new wall module includes interactive multimedia components. Here, all technical components, including speakers, are concealed in the 40mm thick wall module.
Out of a total of 438 submissions, MBA’s “mila-wall® Interactive Soundwall LCD” has received the coveted international Design Award Focus Open Silver 2009 for excellence in design performance. The award is based mainly on classic design criteria, but also on creation quality, functionality, innovation, ergonomics, graphics, ecological characteristics and conveying emotion.
